The two videos below will give you a glimpse of this beautiful Hawaiian style of massage. This is a rich and wonderful experience on so many levels and I encourage you to be a little adventurous and give it a try! You will love it!
I’ll explain more about what to expect on the day of your appointment, but for now I will point out three things that the videos show which vary from traditional massage:
- the minimal “loincloth style” draping which allows the therapist to work freely around the client’s body
- The oiled table and lack of sheet underneath the client
- The flat, spread eagle positioning of the knees/legs. The client is in this position for about 30 minutes.
What the video does not show are all the special touches which accompany the massage. This is a deeply relaxing massage and it may also be a unique journey for your spirit and senses…a time of letting go. That will be up to you…
